How to Make a Fleece Ear Warmer

(Bear with me, I made the pattern up myself. You can play around with the sizes of fleece, strips, etc, depending on the look you like best!)

Supplies: Fleece (remnants work great and are inexpensive!) & Scissors

(Yes- that is ALL you will need!)

Lay out a 21inx 15in piece of fleece (sizes will vary depending on the size of child you wish to fit).  Make sure the stretchy length of fabric is the longer side to so that it will stretch around a little head.

Fold the fleece in half, right side out

Cut down 3in from top, cut in 2in from side on both ends (if you would like longer fringe on top, cut 3.5in)

Cut .5in strips across the top

Tie each set of strips two times

Fold together

Cut .5in wide strips through all four layers

Tie those strips together

Voila! Ear Warmers of different sizes! Each takes about 15 minutes to create.
