How to Make a Fleece-Tie Blanket There are a lot of directions out there on how to make a blanket. Below is one way to do it. Get two pieces of fleece of equal size, usually one is solid in color and the other a print Sizes: Baby/Toddler: 1-1/4 yard Child: 1-1/2 yard Adolescent: 1-3/4 yard High School/Adult: 2 yards Materials needed: Sharp fabric scissors or cutting wheel, fabric, ruler or measuring tape (if needed) Follow the steps below:

| Lay fleece on a flat surface. Trim off curled edges if desired. | Cut one 4 inch x 4 inch square out of each corner. |
| Cut 1 inch wide x 4 inch long strips (match up with the corner size). Cut all around the perimeter of the blanket. Its important not to move the blanket once you have cut the strips. | Once strips are cut all the way around the blanket, tie a double knot using the printed fabric and the solid fabric directly below it. |
| Continue to tie knots all the way around the blanket | Once you have tied the entire blanket, you are done! If the blanket is puckered from the knots, just give it a good stretch and it will lie flat. |

Have fun! |
